These terms of service ("terms") govern the use of our website and the house clearance services provided by Harrow House Clearance ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote, booking a clearance, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms.
We provide house, probate, hoarder, office and single-item clearance services across Harrow and North West London. The exact scope of work for your booking will be agreed with you in advance, whether by phone, photos, or an in-person assessment.
Quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation, based on the information and photos you give us. Quotes are estimates and may be adjusted if the actual scope of work differs materially from what was described, for example additional items, restricted access, or extra waste found on the day. We will always discuss any change in price with you before proceeding.
Bookings are confirmed once a date has been agreed between you and us. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the slot to another customer. Repeated late cancellations may affect our ability to offer priority scheduling in future.
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods confirmed with you at the time of booking.
Certain items cannot be collected as part of a standard clearance, including some hazardous materials, gas canisters, and certain chemicals. If you are unsure whether an item can be included, please ask us before your clearance date.
We are a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency (Licence CBDU462667). All waste removed from your property is transported and disposed of in accordance with UK waste regulations, with items reused, donated or recycled wherever possible.
We take reasonable care when working in your property, but we are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues arising from inaccurate information provided about the scope of work. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
